Scott Keller's 1967 GS California

I have owned this car since 1984 and it remained a daily driver until 1990. It currently registers just over 188,xxx miles and is awaiting restoration. It is Sapphire Blue with a black vinyl top. The interior is two-tone blue vinyl with bench seats. The 340 V8 is backed up with the ST300 2-speed. It is very lightly optioned, with PS and an AM radio being the only factory options. The previous owner added PB and I swapped in the correct "Sonomatic" AM/FM radio.

Ken McMillian's 1969 GS California

It's a summer driver so it's not show quality, but I sure have fun street racing with it! It has a '68 rear bumper on it though, no backup light, so it might confuse the experts. Oh well, I haven't found the extra money to get a nice '69 bumper. I'd rather spend my money on making it go faster!

(Stock 350/350 trans - 2.30 60' 14.94 @ 93.1mph)

Tim Strochine's 1970 GS Stage 1

The attached GIF file shows 2 pictures of my 70 Stage 1 hardtop taken at 1995 GS Nationals. Its a Diplomat Blue hardtop, Original 455 Stage 1 engine w/floor shift Automatic trans, 3:42 Posi. Black bucket seat interior. Loaded with 23+ options (air, tilt, cruise, gauges .... EVERY option except P. Windows & P. locks.) Back in 1985 it started out as a daily driver, but has since undergone a complete restoration (which I did myself) and is now basically a show car; however, it does go to the track occasionally. Best 1/4 mile ET: 13.13 @ 106 MPH in street trim. Car has made several apperances at GS Nationals. Won 1st and 2nd place in 70 GS hartop show class in 1994 & 1995 respectively. I personally am a 13 year member of GSCA and have owned GS's for 20 years.

Bob Paauwe's 1971 Skylark Custom

I'm working on restoring a 1971 Buick Skylark Custom. It is getting done by bits and pieces. The body work, paint, vinyl top, front end, and exhaust, are done. The dash is mostly done. I've started on the interior. The headliner has been replaced. I replaced the rear package shelf but a leaky rear window has made replacement neccessary again. The front seats are trash, but fake sheepskin covers hide most of that. The back seat is stained and a little cracked. The door panels are old but servicable.

The nice GS hood is correct for a 1971 Buick GS. It was on the car when I bought and since it looks so good, I have no intention of replacing it with an original style hood.

Shawn Bestvater's 1972 GS

The car is a 72GS Stratomist Blue with white/brown interior. Major options include: Buckets, gauges, p/s, p/b(disk), a/c(inop), and N-25 bumper. Originally a 350 car, I swapped in a 430 Riviera engine when the 350 gave out. Trans is still a TH350 with a 3.08 rear gear. The car serves as my daily driver and I must say the picture hid many flaws and is several years old. Purchase price of $750 was too good to pass up. I have a few parts lying about and plan a restification some day. Currently the interior is black with cloth inserts.

Kevin Poe's 1972 GS

I drive this car everyday, so it is not really completely cherry, but the I have seen much worse cars in shows. The engine is built up using a TA Stage 1 aluminum intake, headers, a hot cam, and HEI. The transmission is a beefed up 1970 TH-350 that was in the car when I got it. I put a 3.31:1 12-bolt posi under the rear last summer. I also have put big swaybars front and rear to help the handling out significantly. It has sport mirrors, rallye steering wheel, gauges, and clock, bench seat interior, AC, PS, PDB, 15" sport wheels, and the black dashboard.

Jeff Bigelow's 1973 Electra 225 2dr

Won first place in its class at Gerbralter Trade Center, in Mt. Clemens Michigan. First show ever! We are the original owners of what we call the "Deuce". All needed body work was done by my family and close friends.
