Hell, everything was wild in this game, where the stakes were murder and all the suspects were wearing poker faces.
Somebody was
holding a real pat hand, somebody who wanted to make sure that the deck was
solidly stacked against Shell Scott. It was up to Shell to draw to an inside
straight - in a fat hurry - or else wind up in a joker's grave.
