Charles W. Firth, Jr. Memorial Electronic/Electrical
Engineering Technology Scholarship Application
The
Delaware Technical & Community College Electronic/Electrical/Computer
Engineering Technology program(all options)-Stanton Campus is pleased to announce
an award for currently enrolled students to assist with tuition, fees and/or
books to honor the memory of Charles W. Firth, Jr. the Electrical Engineering
Technology Laboratory Technician. Charles
W. Firth was a loyal employee who always put students first. He would often go the extra mile to help struggling
students.
To
apply for the scholarship, the following eligibility requirements must be met
and submitted by February 16th for spring
semester 2007-52.
Applicants must:
1. Complete the scholarship application.
2. Be enrolled part-time or full-time at the Stanton
Campus.
3. Have successfully completed at least 12 college level
credits. (100 level or above)
4. Have been enrolled in the Electronic/Electrical Engineering
Technology program for at least one semester at the Stanton Campus.
5. Be in good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or
better.
6. Have a letter of recommendation from a present or
past employer or teacher.
7. Write an essay, 300 to 500 words, discussing the
attributes of a good electronic engineering technician.
8. Apply for financial aid. Note: This award is not based on financial
need.
This is a
two-continuous-semester award of $200 per semester.

$200.00, 2008-51 - $200.00)
It is to be used for tuition, fees, and/or
textbooks.
